Tailscale first. Then scan.

Recommended

Install Tailscale on your iPhone and Host. Do not expose SSH to the internet.

    Put both devices on the same tailnet.

    curl -fsSL https://herden.app/install.sh | sh

    Scan

    Open a new Terminal, run herden pair, then scan the QR code in the Herden iOS app.
