Herden includes and modifies software from these Apache-2.0 projects:

  herdr, https://github.com/herdrdev/herdr
  Heeler, https://github.com/ZingerLittleBee/Heeler

The native iOS application, plugin, relay, and landing site began from
Heeler, including the iOS QR scanner, original secure pairing flow and
file-upload foundation. The Host runtime under runtime/ began from herdr.
Herden's changes include public names, product integration, moving inherited
Host-side pairing into Rust, compact Pairing Codes, Space-first navigation,
shared terminal controls and the iOS Share Extension. Exact source baselines,
feature provenance and maintenance policy are recorded in UPSTREAM.md and
runtime/UPSTREAM.md.

Neither upstream project endorses Herden. Their names are used only to
describe the origin of the software.
